Chef’s Husband on a Diet—Wow, I Did It Again!

That’s right, folks: I’ve managed to lose another 1.5 lbs. in just a little over a month! Yes, I know it’s incredible: incredible that I could be so lame about getting serious about starting on a firm program to lose my weight. But, I’m not really in the mood to beat myself up again in public, so instead I’ll share something with you that is definitely NOT lame: a recipe for a delicious California Chef smoothie that goes down so delightfully as our weather starts to heat up. So, instead of opting for an ice cream, choose to chill the healthy way. Our smoothie weighs in at only about 150 calories per serving and makes a great snack or grab-and-go breakfast.

Melon Smoothie: One Serving

¼ cup Greek yogurt

½ cup fat free vanilla yogurt

1/3 cup watermelon

1/3 cup cantaloupe

½ cup ice

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. It couldn’t be any easier!
